Guardant Health Partners with Trial Library to Expand Access to Cancer Clinical Trials Across the U.S.

Guardant Health has formed a new partnership with Trial Library to expand access to cancer clinical trials across the United States. The companies aim to streamline trial identification and enrollment. Moreover, the collaboration will help providers offer more trial options to eligible patients. This move supports broader participation in cancer clinical trials nationwide.

Collaboration Enhances Trial Matching and Patient Support

The partnership merges Guardant Health’s precision diagnostics with Trial Library’s AI-driven matching and patient navigation platform. Together, they will improve referral workflows for cancer clinical trials and enhance patient access to advanced treatment opportunities.

Guardant Health will use real-world data from more than one million tested patients to identify individuals suited for specific trials. Trial Library will support community clinics through AI-enabled provider activation, compliant patient identification, and continuous navigation during the trial process. Consequently, providers can verify eligibility remotely and guide patients more effectively.

“Precision oncology only works if patients can actually access the treatments being developed,” said Helmy Eltoukhy, Guardant Health chairman and co-CEO. “With Trial Library, we’re linking biomarker insights directly to real trial opportunities and providing the support patients need to act on them. Together, we can close the gap between genomic discovery and equitable participation in lifesaving research.”

Although more than 70 percent of patients are open to trial participation, fewer than 7 percent with cancer enroll. Barriers remain especially high in rural and underserved communities. Furthermore, limited awareness, logistical challenges, and a lack of trial infrastructure restrict access. This collaboration intends to reduce these obstacles through advanced technology and focused navigation.

“Trial Library’s collaboration with Guardant Health represents a powerful step forward in transforming genomic data into expanded trial access,” said Dr. Hala Borno, CEO of Trial Library. “By connecting test results to real-world trial opportunities and supporting patients through every step of the journey, we’re not only expanding trial participation but reshaping what equitable cancer care looks like.”
