26Health has expanded its partnership with NuvemRx to open its first entity-owned pharmacy in Orlando. The health center aims to improve access for underserved communities. Moreover, this move strengthens care delivery while expanding integrated services. The new entity-owned pharmacy will support 26Health’s mission of delivering comprehensive and inclusive care. This strategic step also highlights the growing importance of entity-owned pharmacy models in community health.
Healthcare providers often face major challenges when developing and managing their own pharmacies. Therefore, NuvemRx will assist 26Health in launching and operating 26Health Pharmacy Orlando. The company will oversee daily operations, strengthen compliance, and improve efficiency. As a result, 26Health can focus more fully on patient care and reinvest 340B savings into expanding support programs.
“As our partnership with NuvemRx deepens, it also represents an investment in our community,” says 26Health President & CEO, Latrice Stewart. “By moving our pharmacy services in-house, we’re making it easier for patients to access the care they need. Bringing more of our services together in one place allows us to deliver simpler, more complete care for every patient.”
Expanded Pharmacy Services Strengthen Community Health
26Health serves as a designated STI testing, treatment, and prevention facility. It also provides inclusive, high-quality care for individuals living with HIV/AIDS and other vulnerable populations. Furthermore, expanding pharmacy services helps broaden access to behavioral health, primary care, and HIV treatment. The onsite pharmacy will support streamlined care and a unified service experience.
“STI clinics are such a critical part of our healthcare safety net in the U.S.,” said Scott Seidelmann, NuvemRx CEO. “We’re honored to help 26Health expand its impact as a comprehensive STI clinic by opening an in-house pharmacy. This will enable them to serve
patients better and reinvest in their community as we at NuvemRx continue expanding our network of facilities nationwide.”
