Epredia Partners with Mindpeak to Distribute AI-Powered Cancer Diagnostic Imaging Solutions Across the EU

Image Recognition in Cancer Diagnostics

Epredia and Mindpeak recently signed a deal to sell more digital pathology tools in the European Union. This partnership lets Epredia’s many customers use Mindpeak’s image recognition software. Because of this, AI can now be used by labs to look at tissue samples with amazing accuracy. This software gives you pixel-level data for different types of cancer right away.

Improving the speed and safety of diagnoses

Pathology labs are under more and more pressure to cut costs and get test results faster. But Mindpeak’s technology lets you do assessments that can be repeated without needing to connect to the cloud. This makes sure that both research and clinical settings have very high data privacy. Epredia also plans to add these AI modules to its E1000 Dx imaging workflow.

“Epredia is committed to providing the right tool at the right time to help pathology labs deliver accurate, efficient diagnoses of cancer, so patients can get the care they need,” said Steven Lynum, President of Epredia. “Our entire workflow of solutions, from stains to digital scanners, works together to create the high-quality tissue samples needed for diagnosis, and AI image recognition software has the potential to bring a new level of speed, accuracy, and reliability to that process.”

This partnership strengthens the shared goal of giving pathologists all over the world real-time AI help. Also, the integration makes it easier to share data through advanced image management systems.

“Working with Epredia strengthens our shared mission to bring reliable, real-time AI support into the hands of pathologists everywhere,” said Felix Faber, Co-founder and CEO of Mindpeak. “Together we can help laboratories achieve faster, more consistent image interpretation and move closer to scalable, expert-directed cancer diagnostics.”

In the end, these new digital pathology tools bring healthcare closer to scalable, expert-led cancer diagnosis. The deal adds to Epredia’s full range of products, from slides to diagnostic tools powered by AI. This partnership is a big step forward for digital pathology in Europe.
