His thirty-year career spans multiple critical sectors. For instance, he practised as a primary care physician. He also held executive roles at prestigious U.S. health systems. Moreover, he managed macro-level technology for the U.K. government. He incubated cutting-edge AI health-tech startups.

Earlier, Dr. Ferris acted as CEO of the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization. Furthermore, he worked as senior vice president for population health at Mass General Brigham.
