FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation announced that its ELUXEO 8000 Endoscopic Imaging System coupled with its EG-840TP ultra slim therapeutic gastroscope has won the “Best New Endoscopy Technology Solution” award in the 10th annual MedTech Breakthrough Awards program. The organization has recognized Fujifilm for the second consecutive year.
The ELUXEO 8000 Endoscopic Imaging System combines a processor and light source into a single unit. It also introduced a new proprietary light mode called Amber-Red Color Imaging (ACI). This technology is designed to:

- Enhance noninvasive Third Space Endoscopy (TSE) treatment.

The combined system supports clinicians in performing procedures that were previously “extremely difficult to perform, or simply not possible in the past.” These noninvasive techniques lead to shorter hospital stays and quicker patient recoveries.
