Nourish Secures $100 Million Series C Investment to Reverse Chronic Disease with AI-Native Metabolic Clinic

Nourish Raises $100M Series C to Reverse Chronic Disease with AI-Native Metabolic Clinic

Nourish, the largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic in the country, announced a major $100 million Series C funding round. This latest investment brings the total funding of the company to $215 million. Menlo Ventures led the financing round with substantial participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, and J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners. Additional participants included Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners. The corporate team will use the capital to grow its clinical network and expand its care model. Additionally, leadership plans to accelerate investments in artificial intelligence agents for patients and providers.

Nearly 200 million Americans currently live with nutrition-related chronic conditions. These illnesses drive nearly $5 trillion spent on annual healthcare costs. They also cause over one million preventable deaths each year. Nourish directly targets these numbers through its innovative AI-Native Metabolic Clinic. This model drives long-term behavior change and measurable patient outcomes.

Driving Measurable Patient Outcomes and Savings

The structured care system produces clinical health results. Patients average an 8% weight loss and a 1.3 point A1C reduction. Furthermore, individuals experience a 31-point LDL cholesterol reduction. They also achieve a 23-point systolic blood pressure reduction. These improvements generate over $2,000 in annual cost savings per patient for health plans.

“Chronic disease is the largest cost driver in U.S. healthcare, and the system still isn’t built to treat it,” said Aidan Dewar, Co-Founder and CEO of Nourish. “Too often, patients get expensive, reactive, fragmented care that doesn’t actually make them healthier. We’ve built the care model and technology to change that, driving the behavior and lifestyle change that delivers real clinical outcomes at a low cost and great patient experience. The demand from patients, providers, health plans, employers, and health systems has never been clearer, and this round positions us to meet it at scale.”

Every patient works virtually with a Registered Dietitian to receive a comprehensive care plan. The platform layers in lab testing, virtual medical care, and responsible GLP-1 prescribing based on specific consumer needs. An AI health agent assists each care team through a mobile app. This app boasts hundreds of thousands of monthly active users. Meanwhile, providers utilize AI copilot agents to automate administrative work and surface real-time insights.

Fewer than half of patients remain on GLP-1 medications at the six-month mark. Most individuals regain lost weight without sustained nutrition support. Nourish addresses this gap by combining insurance-covered medications with lifestyle changes.

“Chronic disease is the central failure of U.S. healthcare, nearly 200 million Americans affected, trillions spent, and outcomes that still don’t move. What Nourish has built in four years is remarkable: a care model that actually bends the cost curve, with 10,000 dietitians, deep payer relationships, and clinical outcomes patients stick with,” said J.P. Sanday, Partner at Menlo Ventures. “Most companies get one of those things right. Nourish has all of them. We’re proud to lead this round.”

The company has expanded its network to more than 10,000 Registered Dietitians in four years. The clinic has completed millions of appointments while tripling year-over-year growth. Partnerships with leading health plans provide broad access to more than 200 million covered lives. Today, tens of thousands of providers from over 250 health systems actively refer patients to the AI-Native Metabolic Clinic.
