The Menopause Impact Scale now connects with ten partners across menopause care, primary care, telehealth, and hormone tracking. The partner ecosystem includes Alloy Health, Oova, Xella, Pomelo, Wisp, Maven, Mira, Hertility, Gennev, and Tia.
These integrations extend the Menopause Impact Scale beyond the Oura App. They also bring the measurement into real-world clinical and healthcare workflows. As a result, women and their care teams can use a more consistent approach to understand menopause. The measurement can also support more informed discussions around care and treatment.

The expansion also gives the Menopause Impact Scale a broader role across different healthcare environments. Women can carry their reported experiences between care settings with greater consistency.

Expanding Menopause Care Through Healthcare Partners
Through the new partnerships, ŌURA is taking the Menopause Impact Scale beyond a point-in-time questionnaire. The company is integrating it into healthcare workflows that women already use. The ten partners cover several areas within the women’s health ecosystem. These include specialist menopause care, primary care, integrated women’s healthcare, telehealth, and hormone tracking.
For menopause-focused clinical care, Alloy Health, Gennev, Wisp, and Pomelo will use the MIS within their care workflows. These integrations can add structured quality-of-life measurements to specialist and digitally delivered menopause services. Meanwhile, Maven, Tia, and Xella will bring the Menopause Impact Scale into broader women’s healthcare models. Their care models include perimenopause, well-woman care, and cardiovascular health.
In addition, Oova, Mira, and Hertility will connect MIS results with hormone and biomarker tracking. These platforms can combine impact scores with hormone, biometric, and other health information. Together, these integrations provide different entry points throughout the menopause care journey. They also help create a more consistent view of symptoms and their effects.
Chief Medical Officers across the partner network have also highlighted the value of the Menopause Impact Scale.

Menopause Impact Scale Sets New Measurement Approach
Historically, healthcare providers have often measured menopause through individual symptoms. Clinical conversations have also focused on specific moments rather than longer-term experiences. However, menopause can affect several areas of daily life at the same time. These areas include sleep, stress, cognition, self-perception, sexual health, and daily functioning. The Menopause Impact Scale aims to provide a broader measurement of menopause’s effect on quality of life. It builds on established menopause assessment tools and reflects the evolving understanding of menopause.
ŌURA’s science and clinical teams developed the MIS to measure menopause-related effects across 22 symptoms and seven domains. This approach makes symptoms easier to understand and potentially easier to address. The MIS can also work alongside continuous Oura data. That data includes information on sleep, stress, recovery, and metabolic health. Consequently, the Menopause Impact Scale can connect women’s reported experiences with longer-term health context. It can help show how reported symptoms may relate to broader health patterns.
The team evaluated the digital-first instrument with more than 2,900 participants. Participants ranged in age from 21 to 85. The evaluation used modern psychometric methods and comparisons with established measures. ŌURA has also submitted the full validation manuscript for peer review. Since its launch in May, more than 600,000 members have completed the MIS. Overall, members have recorded more than 880,000 completions.
Sixty-two percent of MIS respondents live in the United States. The remaining 38% of respondents come from other regions worldwide. These figures demonstrate broad adoption across different markets. They also show repeated use of the measurement for longitudinal health tracking.
Building a Science-Based Foundation for Women’s Health
The Menopause Impact Scale represents the latest development in ŌURA’s investment in women’s health research. The company previously released its first-ever Perimenopause Report.
That report analyzed aggregate and de-identified data from more than 100,000 female Oura Members. The participants represented early perimenopause, late perimenopause, and early postmenopause. The research examined how hormonal changes during midlife can affect sleep, heart health, mood, and other areas.
ŌURA has also continued research across the broader reproductive health journey. In a peer-reviewed validation study involving more than 1,000 ovulatory cycles, researchers evaluated Oura’s physiology-based approach. The approach detected 96.4% of ovulations with an average error of 1.26 days. It also outperformed calendar tracking, including among members with irregular cycles. Separately, research with leading academic institutions examined temperature changes following conception. Other research showed that Oura could predict pregnancies delivering before or after the due date with 71% accuracy.
Together, these studies provide a research foundation for applying continuous physiological data to women’s healthcare. Now, the Menopause Impact Scale brings that approach into menopause care. The expansion connects digital health data with women’s reported experiences.
Starting today, members can integrate their MIS results with Alloy Health, Oova, Xella, Pomelo, and Wisp.
