Quanterix Selects Dr. Yuri Fesko to Serve as Chief Medical Officer

Quanterix has appointed Dr. Yuri Fesko as Chief Medical Officer to strengthen its clinical and medical leadership. In his new role, Dr. Fesko will provide medical and clinical leadership across the company.

Dr. Fesko Brings Diagnostics Leadership

Before joining Quanterix, Dr. Fesko served as Chief Medical Officer at Quest Diagnostics. He oversaw Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Analytics, and Public Health. He also provided medical and analytical leadership across the organization. In addition, he served as the medical lead supporting Quality and Regulatory functions. His responsibilities also included senior-level medical leadership for pathology and dermatopathology. This experience exposes him extensively to clinical and diagnostic operations.

Dr. Fesko has spent his career mastering precision medicine strategies. He spent his life developing and implementing advanced diagnostic solutions. He has particular experience across oncology, metabolic disease and neurology and consumer health. These are areas that fit in with the growing role of precision diagnostics in modern health care.  Dr. Fesko has also worked extensively with health systems. His professional experience includes collaborations with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Furthermore, he has partnered with physician organizations to integrate precision diagnostics into clinical practice. He has also supported the use of these technologies in clinical trials. His background includes significant experience with FDA submissions and clinical development. He has also worked on companion diagnostic strategies and reimbursement planning. These capabilities will support Quanterix as it advances its diagnostic technologies. They will also help the company strengthen its clinical and regulatory programs.

Dr. Fesko holds Bachelor’s and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Case Western Reserve University. He also completed a Fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. Dr. Fesko will be based at Quanterix’s headquarters in Billerica, Massachusetts.
