Accendra Health Introduces New Leadership Appointments Across IT and Procurement

Accendra Health has announced leadership appointments in IT and Procurement to strengthen its operational foundation. These Accendra Health leadership appointments support the company’s continued growth as a pure-play home-based care organization. Moreover, the new roles will help advance healthcare delivery through technology and strategic operations.

Nicholas Piecora has been appointed to the position of Senior Vice President. Chief Information Officer for the organization in the month of May. He is required to report to Edward Pesicka, who holds the posts of President and Chief Executive Officer. Also, Agnes Ansay has recently joined the organization of Accendra Health as Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer.

For almost two decades now, Piecora has been contributing to the successes that have come the way of the company. In addition to this, he was at the helm when the company underwent the process of transformation.

Strengthening Technology and Procurement Operations

As the Chief Information Officer, Piecora will keep developing the technological strategy of the organization. Piecora will pay attention to automation, optimization of processes, and customer experience improvements. At the same time, the leadership of Piecora will provide effective health care delivery and better reimbursement performance. On the other hand, Ansay has more than 10 years of international procurement experience. She will head the Procurement department of the company.

Prior to joining the company, Ansay worked as the Head of Global Procurement for IT, facilities, engineering, & manufacturing at Grifols. Where she converted the procurement process to a global category management organization. Prior to that, Ansay has had stints as procurement and sourcing experts at Amazon, Starbucks, Nordstrom, and Walgreens Boots Alliance. Thus, her experience can help the company improve its procurement capabilities.

Ansay is an alumnus of Purdue University where she earned her MBA. In addition to this, she also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Olivet Nazarene University.
