Align Technology highlighted the future of digital orthodontics during its 2026 Invisalign® Ortho Summit in Las Vegas. The event showcased connected solutions for modern orthodontic care.
Align Technology, Inc. a global medical device company, hosted the multi-day event from July 23–26, 2026. The summit brought together more than 500 orthodontists and practice teams.
This summit revolved around the theme “Beyond Possible”. It showed how the field of digital orthodontics has been revolutionizing the treatment process. Besides, the event highlighted how Align’s solutions improve precision, efficiency, and confidence across modern orthodontic treatment workflows. Align™ Digital Platform comprises Invisalign® System, iTero™ intraoral scanners and exocad™ CAD/CAM software. The summit also honored those orthodontists who have been exploring new boundaries in Invisalign treatment. Their efforts have led to more healthily and confidently smiling people for nearly three decades. At the summit, Align launched hands-on experience at the Align Innovation Hub.
“Doctors don’t just want another product, they want a connected experience that works the way their practice actually runs,” said Frank Quinn, Align Technology executive vice president and managing director, Americas. “That’s what ‘Beyond Possible’ is about. When the workflow comes together from scan to plan to treatment and beyond, it gives doctors more time to focus on patients and deliver great outcomes.”
These booths included those dedicated to Invisalign for Kids, treatment planning, visualization, portfolio solutions, and engaging patients. There were also many new advances that had been made to enhance clinical outcomes. The two new technologies that were showcased included the Invisalign Specifix™ Attachment System as well as Invisalign® buttons.
Align Showcases Digital Innovations for Advanced Orthodontic Care
In addition to this, Align also demonstrated advancements made in Invisalign® Palatal Expander System. This gives the dentist more options while treating their growing patients. Features that have been added to Invisalign® Outcome Simulator Pro and ClinCheck® have helped improve doctor-patient communication.
“The innovations unveiled at Summit were remarkable. Align Technology’s commitment to continually raising the bar and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in orthodontics is inspiring,” said Dr. Erin Fraundorf, D.M.D., M.S.D, Artist Behind the Smiles and Founder of BOCA Orthodontic + Whitening Studio, Ladue, MO.
Moreover, real-life experiences of orthodontists were discussed by them in educational sessions. Some of the topics that were discussed included difficult cases, digital processes, and patient engagement. Align Technology is still working on the development of digital orthodontics with the help of connected technology, automation, & 3D printing.
“The Invisalign Ortho Summit in Las Vegas left me energized about where Align Technology is taking orthodontics, particularly the advances in visualization, diagnostics, and direct 3D printing,” said Dr. David Walt, D.D.S., MSD., Walt Orthodontics, Vaughan, ON. “Learning alongside my peers reinforced the clinical excellence we can achieve with the Invisalign Palatal Expander and Invisalign First. I was equally grateful for the chance to share how I leveraged the Align Digital Platform to optimize practice efficiency and the patient experience.”
“Events like the Invisalign Ortho Summit show what’s possible when innovation and real-world experience come together,” Quinn added. “For nearly 30 years, doctors have used our tools and technology to create 23 million new smiles for their patients. As we continue to build a more connected experience, we’re focused on helping doctors go beyond what was once thought possible both in how they treat patients and how they grow their practices.”
