Gardner Health Services has appointed Guillermo Viveros as president and CEO, strengthening its focus on Community Healthcare. He will lead the organization’s next phase of growth.
Gardner Health Services offers primary and mental health services in Santa Clara County and San Mateo County. Over 47,000 individuals utilize Gardner Health Services annually. Viveros previously served as chief financial officer and interim president and CEO at the healthcare organization. Now, he will become the full-time executive director of the organization valued at $100 million. This marks an important milestone for the healthcare organization. Viveros has more than 20 years of expertise in finance and international management.
Prior to taking up a position within the management team. Viveros served for six years as a member of the organization’s Board. The period between 2017 and 2023 comprised his time as a board member. In this capacity, he helped in planning and sustainability.

Viveros Brings Extensive Corporate Leadership Experience
Roth is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the organization. He commended Viveros for his financial prudence and wide knowledge base regarding operations. The board was also confident that he had the ability to deal with new policies on healthcare. According to Roth, Viveros will continue helping the company achieve its objectives. Prior to joining the organization, Viveros held senior finance and operations roles at leading technology firms.
Viveros served as the Chief Financial Officer of Go-to-Marketing Strategy at Freshworks. He was also employed by Infoblox, Inc., where he served as Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to his current role, he worked as a senior finance director at TiVo, Inc. He also has 11 years of experience with Juniper Networks, Inc. During his time at Juniper Networks, he served in various senior finance leadership positions. He had roles in corporate financial planning, security, services, support, and operations. He started his career as a treasury director at Hewlett-Packard.

Education wise, Viveros has an MBA in Finance & International Business from UCLA Anderson School of Management. A mechanical engineering degree from California Polytechnic State University. His goal is to offer good quality health care including mental health care in the communities served by the organization. He intends to provide support to the healthcare providers and staff. Under Viveros’ leadership, the organization will continue improving its Community Healthcare services. This will be done in the area of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
