The healthcare services are being offered to the inmates at the Corrections Center. The Northwest Ohio (CCNO) has been officially transferred to Armor Health. A national company that offers comprehensive healthcare services to correctional institutions. Armor Health won the contract in December 2025 through a competitive request for proposal. The transition of the healthcare services occurred at midnight on January 15 in the middle of a severe winter storm. However, the Armor Health team was able to complete the transition process successfully despite the severe weather conditions. During the transition process, the Armor Health team demonstrated its readiness and responsiveness. They immediately evaluated the need for staff and sent two more nurses to the facility.
“We are pleased with the transition to Armor. Our new healthcare provider,” said Dennis Sullivan, Executive Director for the CCNO facility. Sullivan added, “Transitions are never simple, but the weather added a whole different challenge. Armor came prepared and continued medical services without disruption.”
“We are encouraged and optimistic about the partnership moving forward,” Sullivan noted. “Armor has been working to make this transition as painless as possible, & that speaks to their commitment to correctional healthcare.”
