Hims & Hers Announces Acquisition of YourBio Health to Advance Pain-Free Blood Sampling Innovation

Hims & Hers Health, Inc. (NYSE: HIMS), a leading digital wellness platform, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire YourBio Health, Inc., a Boston-based innovator in painless blood sampling technology. The move aims to transform traditional blood collection through YourBio’s patented micro-needle devices, making comfortable, at-home blood testing the new norm.

YourBio Health’s TAP® device, powered by its proprietary HALO™ system, uses bladeless microneedles finer than an eyelash to collect high-quality capillary blood samples within seconds—eliminating the need for needles or finger pricks. With an extensive portfolio of patents, the company’s microtechnology reimagines simplicity, comfort, and accessibility in health diagnostics.

Andrew Dudum, Founder and CEO of Hims & Hers, said the acquisition reflects the company’s vision to make healthcare “simpler, more comfortable, and more human.” Dr. Michael Mina, Chief Scientific Officer at YourBio Health, highlighted that the HALO and TAP technologies represent “a new era of painless, user-friendly blood collection.”

YourBio Health CEO Paul Owen added that traditional blood sampling has long caused patient discomfort and inefficiency. The company’s innovations, he said, “completely reimagine how people experience blood collection—from design to convenience.”

Upon completion, expected in early 2026 pending regulatory approvals, Hims & Hers will integrate YourBio’s cutting-edge technology into its wellness ecosystem. The deal, funded entirely in cash from Hims & Hers’ balance sheet, will also see Dr. Michael Mina and Paul Owen join the company to support its continued innovation in user-centric healthcare solutions.
