Massive Bio Makes First Strategic Investment in Rivvi to Develop End-to-End AI Healthcare Engagement Infrastructure

Massive Bio

Massive Bio has made its first strategic investment in an AI company through a partnership with Rivvi AI. The investment strengthens Healthcare AI Engagement by connecting oncology intelligence with advanced AI-driven patient communication tools.

Massive Bio, which is a leading precision oncology company, announced its investment in Ai4 2026. The Rivvi AI company is working to provide agentic AI infrastructure to healthcare and life sciences organizations. The goal of both companies is to help improve patient identification, engagement, and decision support. The two companies combine Massive Bio’s clinical intelligence with Rivvi AI’s conversational AI capabilities.

Through the development of AI solutions and investments in related technologies, the company is constantly growing and implementing new strategies. This leads to the company’s goal of increasing the impact and influence of the AI healthcare solution platform. The collaboration helps to overcome issues with clinical trial participation and patient access. Today, not many patients suffering from cancer take part in therapeutic clinical trials.

“Massive Bio has reached a point where we can create value by building, partnering, and investing. Rivvi is our inaugural AI investment because its conversational infrastructure compounds the value of our clinical intelligence. We identify the right opportunity; Rivvi helps make the right conversation possible; our clinical and navigation network carries that conversation toward an informed action. This is disciplined capital deployment around a shared mission, and it establishes a model for how we can accelerate the most important technologies surrounding our platform,” said Selin Kurnaz, PhD, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Massive Bio.

Combining AI Intelligence With Patient Engagement

The intelligence layer is provided by the company through its AI-based matching systems. Their technology processes clinical and biomarker information for discovering appropriate trial opportunities. In turn, Rivvi introduces the engagement layer with the help of AI-driven agents that handle personalized communications and workflows. Also, the company’s matching technology proved to perform well in oncology operations. The system was tested on 3,804 patients and made over 17,000 oncologist-verified matches.

“An eligible patient cannot benefit from an opportunity they never hear about, and in oncology the window can close quickly. Connecting prospectively validated matching with consent-aware conversations and human navigation is a clinically meaningful step. Clinical judgment stays with clinicians, and choice stays with patients; AI creates the capacity to bring more people into an informed discussion with the right care team at the right time,” said Arturo Loaiza-Bonilla, MD, MSEd, FACP, Co-Founder and Chief Medical AI Officer of Massive Bio.

More than two million interactions have been facilitated by Rivvi within more than 500,000 patients. This platform operates among health systems, payers, pharmacies, PBMs, and life sciences companies. Ultimately, the partnership builds a scalable approach to implementing AI in healthcare. This will be through evidence-based medicine, AI engagement, and human support.
