National Jewish Health appointed R. Stanton Dodge as Chair of the Board of Directors, strengthening leadership and advancing healthcare initiatives.
Dodge has been serving on the National Jewish Health Board of Directors for the past 16 years. Dodge takes over from Evan Zucker, who was a board chairperson since July 2023. Zucker will still be part of the board and executive committee members.
Dodge is currently acting as the Chief Legal Officer for DraftKings Inc. He oversees the legal affairs, government affairs, and corporate communications for the company. Dodge previously served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at DISH Network Corp. The Fortune 200 telecommunications company recognized his leadership.

Dodge Brings Extensive Legal and Leadership Experience
Moreover, Dodge started his legal career as a law clerk for Hon. Jose D.L. Marquez from the Colorado Court of Appeals. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the Suffolk University Law School with magna cum laude distinction. Besides, Dodge graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Vermont. Dodge possesses considerable experience as a civic leader, a lawyer, and a philanthropist. Besides National Jewish Health, Dodge is a member of the Board of Directors of EchoStar Corp.
Furthermore, he had been a part of the Colorado Supreme Court Nominating Commission in the past. Also, Dodge was on the Federal Judicial Selection Advisory Committee for U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet.
Throughout his professional career, Dodge has earned many accolades. Dodge has received several notable honors, including the Legal 500 “GC Powerlist” recognition. He was also named among “America’s 50 Outstanding General Counsel” and received Denver Business Journal awards. In general, the hiring of Dodge will help National Jewish Health to continue innovating in the healthcare sector.
