WHOOP and HealthEx Partner to Integrate Medical Records and Biometric Data for Personalized Health Insights

WHOOP and HealthEx Partner to Connect Medical Records and Biometric Data

WHOOP and HealthEx have joined forces to enhance Personalized Health Insights for all members of the U.S. The collaboration makes it possible for users to upload medical records to their WHOOP app. As a result, members will be able to see their clinical information along with biometric data.

In general, it is an integration of medical records with continuous performance metrics. This way, users will get a clearer picture about their overall health status. Furthermore, it will help to make WHOOP AI and My Memory more accurate, providing recommendations depending on the user’s health history. Not only that, but the tool also incorporates parameters such as chronic conditions, medication history, or any surgical procedures and combines them with recovery, sleep, strain, and performance parameters.

Integration Unites Clinical and Wearable Data

The partnership meets increasing customer needs for a cohesive healthcare experience. Previously, a lot of customers kept their data clinical and wearable separately. But now, the integration unifies everything through one platform.

“WHOOP has always focused on turning data into meaningful insights,” said Alex Vannoni, Head of Healthcare Product at WHOOP. “This partnership extends that approach by bringing medical history into the WHOOP experience, giving members a more complete view of their health and enabling even more personalized, relevant coaching, grounded in who they are, not just what happened on a given day.”

“WHOOP members track their health in incredible detail, and that data can be transformative when paired with their full medical record,” said Priyanka Agarwal, M.D., MBA, co-founder and CEO of HealthEx and former associate professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. “Bringing comprehensive health history into the WHOOP experience, alongside daily recovery, strain, and performance metrics, gives members a complete picture of their health. That’s the foundation for personalized, consumer-driven care that puts people in control, meeting them where they are already managing their health.”

Moreover, the partners incorporated privacy measures during the integration. Customers themselves choose whether to link accounts, and they can unplug at any time. Both parties also adhere to security standards and are transparent. Hence, users stay in full control when enjoying Personalized Health Insights.
