TruBridge and The Health Management Academy Debut the New Rural Health Collaborative

Rural Health Collaborative

TruBridge and The Health Management Academy (THMA) just launched the Rural Health Collaborative. This new initiative supports rural and community hospitals during a tough period. It helps these facilities modernize their operations and stay financially strong. The group will share best practices to improve local healthcare delivery. It also aligns with the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) to ensure long-term success.

The partnership brings together health leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders. These experts will focus on accelerating modernization efforts across the country. They want to help hospitals remain sustainable while providing high-quality care. Members will gain access to exclusive insights and advanced technology. This collaboration aims to solve the unique financial pressures that rural providers face today.

Strengthening Community Hospital Sustainability

The first meeting will occur in Dallas this April. Hundreds of healthcare leaders will attend the TruBridge National Client Conference. They will exchange ideas and engage with key partners. A second forum will follow in Washington, D.C., later this year. These events help assess progress and share successful outcomes for rural communities. Both organizations want to ensure that care remains local and effective.

Chris Fowler, president and chief executive officer of TruBridge, said:

“Rural and community hospitals are facing unprecedented financial and operational pressures, creating significant barriers to care for the communities they serve. The Rural Health Collaborative is about ensuring local hospitals and clinicians have the support they need to stay open, remain sustainable, and deliver high-quality care close to home.”

Patrick Lanier, president of The Health Management Academy, said:

“The Health Management Academy exists to bring together healthcare leaders to solve the most pressing challenges facing our industry. This collaborative creates a powerful forum for rural health leaders to engage directly with peers, policymakers, and partners.”
