SCIEX introduced new updates to the ZenoTOF Line during ASMS, adding software improvements, workflow support, and broader system compatibility for omics research. The company said the changes aim to make research work less fragmented and easier to manage. Instead of switching across disconnected tools, scientists can now work through a more connected environment while exploring complex biological questions through the ZenoTOF Line.
A major part of the update comes through SCIEX OS 5.0. The software adds features for system monitoring, reporting, and workflow visibility. Researchers also gain access to AI-supported functions designed to simplify parts of analysis and data handling. Alongside software updates, the ZenoTOF Line now supports wider compatibility, allowing teams to adjust sensitivity, throughput, and selectivity depending on research needs.
SCIEX Expands Research Workflows Across the ZenoTOF Line
SCIEX also introduced improvements tied to proteomics and metabolomics research. The ZenoTOF 8600 system now supports better performance in low-input proteomics workflows, especially where stronger sensitivity matters. At the same time, expanded integrations bring added flexibility across platforms connected to IonOptics, Trajan Scientific and Medical, and Echo® MS+ technologies.
The company also widened software collaborations to help researchers continue working within tools they already know. New integrations support biomarker studies, metabolomics, lipidomics, and scientific validation efforts without adding extra workflow steps. Researchers may also find it easier to move between discovery and analysis while keeping data processing more manageable.
“Ultimately, we are not just delivering incremental performance — but a step change in how researchers can move across the omics continuum. This is just the beginning. Our commitment is simple – continuous innovation in this dynamic platform delivers for customers, across workflows,” says Jose Castro-Perez, Vice President of Product Management at SCIEX.
